Option 2 forms an AP for the above given situation.
- Arithmetic progression is a sequence of numbers in which there is a definite and constant difference between two terms.
- Since the initial time of Girish is 45 sec, therefore the AP will begin from 45.
- Every day he takes 2 sec less than the previous day, therefore the next day he would take 43 sec, on the next day 47 sec, and so on.
