Friends…!

What is the speed in km/hr if a sprinter runs 100 metres in 10 seconds?

First we have to convert meters to kilometers and time in seconds to hour.

1 meter = 1/1000 kilometers

100 meter = 100/1000 kilometers = 1/10= 0.1 kilometer

1 second = 1/3600 hour

10 seconds = 10/3600 =1/360 hour

Now speed = 0.1 km/(1/360) hour

Speed = 0.1 × 360/1 km/hour

Speed = 36 km/hour

Answer Sprinter speed is 36 kilometers per hour or 36 km/h
