Sprouted seeds contain more nutrients than the non sprouted seeds. In the non sprouted seeds, nutrients are stored in complex form while in the sprouted seeds all the complex nutrients are changed into the simplest form.

The proteins changed into an amino acid and starch convert into simple sugars, which can be immediately utilized by the body to provide energy to the body. Sprouted seeds contain a high amount of nutrients like vitamin C, proteins and carotenoids as compared to non sprouted seeds.
