xsquare-8x+12
=x^-6x-2x+12
=x(x-6)-2(x-6)
=(x-6)(x-2)
so.x=6,2

Heya !!!

This is your answer.....

Given :-
x² - 8x + 12

We have to find two numbers a and b such that a+b = -8 and a×b = 12.

By looking at the factors of 12 ....
12 = 2×2×3.

We can say that a and b are -6 and -2.

x² - 8x + 12 = 0
x² - 6x - 2x + 12 = 0
x (x -6) -2 (x -6) = 0.
(x -2)(x -6) = 0

x - 2 = 0. or. x -6 = 0.
x = 2. or. x = 6.

Hence, the zeroes of polynomial are 2 and 6.

Hope it helps.....
