square abcd and triangle apb lies on same base ab . if area of square is 16 cm s , find ar ( triangle apb ) where p is a point on side cd.

Area of the triangle APB = area of the square/2
=16/2
=8 square cm
If a parallelogram and a triangle has same base and between same parallel lines then area of the triangle is half of area parallelogram
