The area of the square is side x side = 18 x 18 = 324  $cm^{2}$

Area of rect = Area of square = 324 $cm^{2}$

The area of the rectangle is = L x B = 12 x L

12 x L = 324

L= 27  cm

∴The length of the rectangle is 27 cm.
