We know that,

So,

= 14400 ${m}^{2}$

↪Length of each sideof the square pond = 20m

↪Area of the square pond = ${20}^{2}$${m}^{2}$

= 400 ${m}^{2}$

Therefore,

↪Area of the square garden excluding the square pond=(14400 - 400) ${m}^{2}$

= 14000${m}^{2}$
