Square root of p²-2pq+q² is  p - q

Given :  p²-2pq+q²

To Find : square root of p²-2pq+q²

Solution:

p²-2pq+q²

Using identity

(x - y)² = x²  - 2xy + y²

x = p

y = q

= (p - q)²

square root of p²-2pq+q²

= √(p - q)²

√a² = | a |        ( | a | = a  if  a ≥ 0 ,  - a if a < 0 )

= | p - q |

square root of p²-2pq+q²   = | p - q |

= p - q  if p ≥ q

= q - p  if p < q

From the given options  p - q  is correct

correct option is  b .
