Answer

Number of tiles = 1125

Total cost = Rs. 5913

Step-by-step explanation:

Side of square tile = 20 cm = 0.2 m

Area of tile = side*side

                 = 0.2*0.2

                 = 0.04m sq

Length of room = 10 m

Width of room = 4.5 m

Area of room = length *breadth

                     =   10*4.5

                    =   45m square

Number of tiles required = 45/0.04

                                        = 1125

Cost of putting tiles at 1 sq.m. = 131.40

Cost of putting tiles at 45 sq.m. = 131.40 *45 = Rs. 5913

hope it helps
