the least number that must be subtracted from 2000 to get a perfect square is 64

2000-64=1936

44×44=1936

44^2=1936

the least number that must be subtracted from 984 to get a perfect square is 23

984-23=961

31×31=961

31^2=961

the least number that must be subtracted from 8934 to get a perfect square is 98

8934-98=8836

94×94=8836

94^3=8836

the least number that must be subtracted from 11021 to get a perfect square is 205

11021-205=10816

104×104=10816

104^2=10816
