Sri Venkateswara College Cut off Released – Sri Venkateswara College has released the Cut off list for admissions to various courses. The cut off is the minimum marks to be scored by the students to be eligible for the courses. The Cut off is released for the UG programmes offered by Sri Venkateswara College. The cut off is released for the B.A programmes such as (B.A Hons.) English, (B.A Hons.) Economics, (B.A Hons.) Hindi, (B.A Hons.) History, (B.A Hons.) Political Science,(B.A Hons.) Sociology, (B.A Hons.) B.A Programme, (B.Sc. Hons.) Chemistry and for the B.Sc Hons courses such as (B.Sc. Hons.) Physics,(B.sc Hons.) Mathematics and more. Below the students can check the Cut off of this year as well as the previous year and understand what are the differences.

For (B.A Hons.) English students are given 96.25% cut off for Gen, 93.25% for OBC, 90% for SC, 90.25% for ST, 89% for PWD and 93% for KM. The previous year the cut off was set at 96.50% for Gen category students whereas For the ST candidates the cut off was 90.25%, for the OBC candidates – 93.50, SC – 90%, PWD – 84% and for KM category candidates it was 93%

2017 Vs 2018 – Last year’s statistics tell that the Cut off has been decreased for the Gen and OBC category candidates whereas, for the PWD candidates, the cut off has increased. Similar cut off is for SC, ST and KM category candidates.


For the (B.A Hons.) Economic – The cut off is set at 97.75% for Gen, 96% for OBC, 95% for SC, 92% for ST, 93.5% for PWD and 94.5% for KM. The previous year cut off was 97.50%. for the General Category candidates. Whereas for the ST candidates the cut off was 92%, for the OBC candidates – 96%, SC – 95%, PWD – 93% and for KM category candidates it was 94.50%

2017 Vs 2018 – The Cut off is Increased for the Gen, OBC and PWD category candidates whereas, for the SC and KM category candidates, the cut off has been decreased. Similar cut off is seen for SC and ST category candidates.


For (B.Sc. Hons.) Mathematics Cut off is set at 96.05% for Gen, 94.5% for OBC, 91.5% for SC, 90.5% for ST, 90.5% for PWD and 94% for KM. For the year 2017, the cut off was 97% for the general category candidates. For the ST candidates the cut off was 91.00%, for the OBC candidates – 95.00%, ST – 92.00%, PWD – 91.00% and for KM category candidates it was 95.00%

2017 Vs 2018 – The cut off has been decreased for the candidates of all the categories.


(B.Sc. Hons.) Chemistry – The Cut off is set at 95.33% for Gen, 94% for OBC, 93.33% for SC, 90.33% for ST, 90% for PWD and 90% for KM. The previous year the cut off was set at 95.33% for general category candidates. For the ST candidates the cut off was 90.33%, for the OBC candidates – 94.33%, SC – 93.33%, PWD – 90% and for KM category candidates it was 90%

2017 Vs 2018 – The cut off is same for Gen, SC, ST, PWD, and KM candidates whereas for the OBC category candidates the cut off has been decreased.


(B.Sc. Hons.) Physics – The Cut off is set at % for Gen, % for OBC, % for SC, 89.00% for ST, % for PWD and % for KM. Previously 96.33% cut off was set for the general category candidates. For the ST candidates the cut off was 89.00%, for the OBC candidates – 95.66%, SC – 92.00%, PWD – 92.00% and for KM category candidates it was 92.00%
