here is the solution-

let the age of sridevi be x years, and that of rajeev be y years.

ATQ,

y-x=4

y=x+4 ----- eq.1

also, x/y=7/9

9x=7y

9x=7(x+4)

9x=7x+28

2x=28

x=14

hence, sridevi is 14 years old
