Temperature of Srinagar on monday = -5° C

On tuesday temperature drops by = 2° C

On wednesday temperature rose by = 4° C

To Find :

What is the temperature on tuesday and on wednesday ?

Solution :

Since on tuesday temperature drops by 2° C from that was on monday i.e. -5° C , so temperature on tuesday :

= -5° C - 2° C

= - 7° C

Now the temperature rises by 4° C from that was on tuesday i.e. -7° C, so temperature on wednesday :

= -7° C + 4° C

= -3° C

Hence , temperature on tuesday is -7° C and on wednesdaay is -3° C .
