Answer is option (b) that trees belongs to children not to him. This story is about an old man named Don Anselmo who was living in Rio and he always thought about others. An American named Senator Catron wanted to buy a land and property form Don Anselmo and during their conversation he explained about the important of family and the land to Senator Carton and he always planted a tree after birth of any child in the Rio. So he rejected the offer to sale the tree or land because it belonged to the children not to him.
