Plastic pollution is when plastics are piled up in an area and affect the environment negatively. This creates adverse effects to the plants, wildlife, and human beings.

The manufacture and destruction of plastics pollutes the air, water, and land by releasing toxic chemicals which are carcinogens. Most of the plastics are not biodegradable.

Plastic is generally viewed as an opponent of the environment as it is not biodegradable. However, more and more commodities are nowadays packaged or produced using plastic. Recycling can aid alleviate the continuous use of synthetic in production, but it presents some difficulties and problems. Contrary to Plastics common recycling methods use incinerators and other facilities to break synthetic goods down into reusable materials. While this method has been useful in decreasing the use of new synthetics, it is not reliable. A major obstacle in this method is that various plastic goods often aren't congenial, which indicates that we cannot recycle plastic articles in the same process.  Treatment of secondary Materials products identified as recycled plastic typically aren't recycled plastics, or anyplace close to it.

Hence it is need of hour and in order to control deteriorating level of Environment plastic should be completely banned and laws should be made to minimize its use completely.
