4(log2 base x)² - log2 base x = 0
log2 base x (4log2 base x - 1) = 0
4log2 base x  - 1 = 0
log2 base x = 1/4
x^1/4 = 2
x = 2^4 = 16
or
log2 base x = 0
x^0 = 2
1= 2    which is not possible
hence x = 16
