we know that according to Eular formula..

i =  {e}^{i \frac{\pi}{2} }

so

 ln( {i}^{ \frac{1}{4} } )  =  \frac{1}{4}  ln(i)  =  \frac{1}{4}  ln( {e}^{i \frac{\pi}{2} } )  = i \times  \frac{\pi}{2}  \times  \frac{1}{4}  ln(e)  =  \frac{\pi}{8} i
