The reason for this is because nylon clothes are capable of generating electrostatic charges. The electrostatic charges are associated with negative health effects such as dry eyes, loss of memory, attention deficit and clumsiness. You can immediately tell that these effects can lead to inefficiency in the part of the theater personnel, hence must be avoided for better concentration. The nylon clothes can also be quite uncomfortable because unlike cotton, they do not allow free flow of air and do not wick sweat. This might cause uncomfortable working conditions for the staff in the theater.
