Once a company has reviewed supplier proposals it now gets into the next stage of Negotiation and award of contract.
In this stage, the business buyer decides on how they are going to negotiate with identified and shortlisted suppliers. They negotiate on the modalities of how they will do business together. The price and quantities of the goods they are buying, method of ordering, delivery and payment. When the negotiations are over and both parties are in agreement, the chosen supplier is awarded the contract.
