In India, people start speeding their vehicle further to alop, as soon as they come to know that they have broken some traffic rules and police has noted it. I have seen some people pretending to be stopping their vehicle and run away as the cop relaxes. Some even hurt the police during the process. Now imagine, if the cop stays on footpath and asks vehicles to stop … Period. As long as Indians realise that breaking traffic rules is also a crime and respect the cops who caught them, police will have to catch them like other criminals going beyond boundaries. Standing in the middle of the road is still a small thing.
