Generally, Standard enthalpy is measured at room temperature,

which is 25°C or 273 + 25 = 298 Kelvin

Hope it helps

Standard enthalpy is usually measured at 298 k or 25°C

  • Standard enthalpy of formation is the heat released in the formation of 1 mole of the compound by its constituent atom or molecule
  • Standard state or room temperature should be maintained to carry out standard enthalpy.
  • The standard values are the most stable ones ie 1 atm pressure, 298K, and 1M concentration.
  • As enthalpy of the substance changes with temperature. it increases with an increase in temperature.
  • Standard enthalpy maintains a steady state at 298K
  • It is also called NTP ie normal temperature and pressure.
  • It is used for the calculations of ideal gases so that liquid and gases be pure.

Hence, standard enthalpy is usually measured at 298 k or 25°C. the correct option is (c).
