The standard enthalpies of formation of CO2 (g) , and HCOOH (I) are - 393.7kJ/mol and - 409.2kJ/mol respectively.

Combustion of glucose:

C 6H 12 O 6 +6O 2 →6CO 2 +6H 2O

ΔH ccombustio = (6×ΔH fCO 2+6×ΔH ff O)−ΔH

fC 6H 12 O 6

=(6×−400+6×−300)−(−1300)

=−2900 kJ/mol

=− 1802900 kJ/g

=− 16.11 kJ/g

hope it help you

thank you !!!!
