The standard of living is measured by different factors like access to proper health care systems, and education, better employment opportunities, higher life expectancy, infant mortality rate, the measure of poverty, etc.
EXPLANATION:
- The standard of living means the quality of life that people in a particular place or country have. It is a very important measure in determining actually how good or bad the life of these people are because per capita income gives us the average amount that people have but not how these amounts are used.
- If a place or an area has lower number of people under poverty line, if the people have proper access to healthcare systems, if the children are receiving quality education, if the people of that area has high life expectancy, if the malnourished children in that area is low.
- If the infant mortality rate is low and several other of these factors are followed in an area then only the people of that area can be said as having a standard of living or living the quality life.
