Stanley had $10.75. He bought a notebook for $1.89 and a package of pens for $3.72. He will use the rest of his money to buy as many folders as he can. If each folder cost 64 cents, how many folders can stanley buy?

Total Money = $10.75
notebook = $1.89
pens = $3.72

Remaining money
= 10.75 - (1.89+3.72)
= 10.75 - 5.61
= 5.14 $
= 514 cents

Number of folders Stanley can buy
= amount/rate
= 514/64
= 8.03

So Stanley can buy only 8 folders in remaining amount.
