Star twinkle but planet do not why ?

Well! its not just a poem for children. It's actually refers to a particular scientific phenomenon that has fascinated.

Why does planets don't Twinkle ;-

Plantets , just like as the sun, don't twinkle. Planets are also closer to the Earth than those distant stars . So, planets appers larger in comparison. Due to planet apparent closeness to Earth , the light coming from these celestial bodies doesn't bend much due Earth atmosphere.

Therefore, the light coming from our solar system planets doesn't appear to twinkle as like stars...i hope it helps you
