as planets are of larger size and much closer to the earth, than stars they can be considered as a collection of large numbers of point sized source of light. the total variation inthe amount of light entering our eye from all these individuals point sized sources will average out to zero which nullify the twinkling effect of each other. therefore planets do not twinkle.
