Starting from 5 × (-1), write various product showing some patterns to show (-1) × (-1) = 1.​

Answer: Various products showing this pattern are as follows :-

I) Positive one × positive one => 1 × 1 = 1

ii) Positive one × negative one => 1 × (-1) = -1

iii) Negative one × negative one =>

(-1) × (-1) = 1

iv) Negative one × positive one => (-1) × 1 = - 1
