Starting from a stationary position, Anil padd
his bicycle to attain a velocity of 10 m/s in 25
Then, he applies brakes such that he again come
nto rest after next 50 s. Calculate the acceleratio
of the bicycle in both the cases. Also find the to:

Explanation:

First 25 seconds,

Initial velocity (u) =0 ( since at rest)

Final velocity (v)=10 m/s (given)

accelaration = (v-u)/t

Therefore, a= 10/25 =0.4 m/s sq.

Next 50 seconds,

u= 10 (from Ist 25 seconds)

v=0 (coming at rest by applying breaks)

t=50 sec

a= (v-u)/t

a= -10/50

a= -1/5

to find distance :- in first 25 min

put the value of u,a,t in formula

S=ut +1/2 a×t×t you will get distance

in next 50 min

same put all the values of this case in the given above formula you will get distance (S) for next 50 min ...add both the S of 25 min and 50 min ...check the answer
