starting from a stationary position, Rehan paddles his bicycle to attain a
velocity of 6m/s in the 30s. then he applies brakes such that the velocity of the
bicycle comes down to 4 m/s in the next 5s. calculate the acceleration of the
bicycle in both cases?

Answer:

u = 0 m/s

v = 6 m/s

t = 30 sec

a = v-u/t = 6-0/30 = 0.2 m/s^2

u = 6 m/s

v = 4 m/s

t = 5 sec

a = v-u/t = 4-6/5 = -2/5 = -0.4 m/s^2

Hope it helps!
