Answer :

  • The velocity of the object after 3 seconds is 36 m/s.

Given

  • Initial Velocity = 0 m/s (at rest)
  • Acceleration = 12 m/s²
  • Time = 3 seconds

To Find :

  • Final Velocity = ?

Solution :

  • To calculate the Final Velocity of the object here we have to apply the first equation of motion :]

By using first equation of motion we get :

  • v = u + at

Where, v is Final Velocity, u is Initial Velocity, a is Acceleration and t is time.

Now, Substituting the given values in above equation we get :

→ v = 0 + 12 × 3

→ v = 12 × 3

v = 36 m/s

Therefore, the velocity of the object after 3 seconds is 36 m/s.

We have the three equations of motion to make things simpler :

  • v = u + at
  • s = ut + ½ at²
  • v² - u² = 2as

Given:-

▣Object is starting from rest = Initial Velocity = 0m/s

▣Acceleration = 12m/s²

▣Time = 3sec

Find:-

▫Final Velocity

Solution:-

we, know that

\sf\underline{\boxed{\sf v = u + at}} \quad \bigg\lgroup F1^{st} eq. of motion\bigg\rgroup

where,

  • Initial Velocity, u = 0m/s
  • Acceleration, a = 12m/s²
  • Time, t = 3sec

So,

\sf\dashrightarrow v = u + at \\ \\

\sf\dashrightarrow v = 0+ (12)(3) \\ \\

\sf\dashrightarrow v = 0+36 \\ \\

\sf\dashrightarrow v = 36m/s \\ \\

 \small{\sf\therefore v = 36m/s}

━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━

Hence, after 3sec velocity of object will be 36m/s
