Answer:

Given -

u = 0 m/s

v = 2 m/s

s = 10 m

calculate velocity after 40m =?

v^2 = u^2 + 2as

(2)^2 = (0)^2 + 2×a×10

4 = 0 + 20a

a = 4/20

a = 0.2 m/s^2

v^2 = u^2 + 2as

v^2 =(0)^2 + 2 × 0.2 × 40

v^2 = 0 + 16

v = under root 16

v = 4m/s
