mitochondria - 1) It has two membranes : i) outer membrane is very porous.
ii) inner membrane is deeply folded.
2) These are semi autonomous.
Plastids-1) the are divided into three : i) Chloroplasts - Kitchen of the cells (green in color) helps in photosynthesis.
ii) leucoplast - (colorless pigments) helps in storage of proteins and starch.
iii)Chromoplast - (contains colour other than chlorophyll) helps to provide color to fruits,flowers.
