The four functions of blood are :

  1. THERMOREGULATION - As the blood is the main transporting fluid ,it  change heat between tissue and blood .
  2. PROTECTIVE FUNCTION- It protects against blood loss,disease,etc.
  3. TRANSPORTATION  FUNCTION - It helps in transporting oxygen,carbon dioxide ,nutrition ,etc to different organs of our body for their functioning.
  4. OSMOTIC FUNCTION- It maintenance the osmotic pressure in blood vessels.
