5 commands used in command prompt:

  • IP CONFIG: ipconfig.
  • NETSTAT: Network Statistics.
  • ASSOC: Fix File Associations.
  • PING: Send Test Packets.
  • SHUTDOWN: Turn Off Computer.

Explanation:

  • Command Prompt is used to provide Command Line Interface to the user.

IP CONFIG:

  • Gives information about network adapter connection with IP address, subnet mask, and domain.

NETSTAT:

  • If we run this command in the command prompt it will show us a list of all TCP connections. on your computer.

ASSOC: 

  • We will get a list of programs along with the file extensions. This enables the computer to open a particular program for a particular file extension.

PING:

  • It is used to send test packets to a network.

SHUTDOWN:
