State a reason why, when hydrogen is passed over heated Copper Oxide (CuO), the resultant product formed, differs in colour from the original reactant.

Hey.....☺

This happens as copper gets displaced by hydrogen from its oxide and copper and water forms as a result.

Colour of copper oxide is black which changes after the reaction as copper gets formed (reddish brown)
