AMPERE'S CIRCUITAL LAW. It states thatthe line integral of the magnetic field due to a closed current carrying loop is equal to 4π x 10^{-7} times the net current through the loop.

We can't use this law to find magnetic field intensity near a straight current carrying wire because this law is only applicable on closed loops.
