Answer:

here the answer:-------

There are three types of muscle tissue -->

  • Cardiac
  • Smooth
  • skeletal

Cardiac muscle cell:---

Cardiac muscle cells are located in the walls of the heart, appear striated, and are under involuntary control.

The heart is the first formed organ in the developing fetus. During fetal and postnatal development cardiomyocytes become terminally differentiated muscular cells that are connected end to end by gap junctions, allowing concerted contractile activity.

Two characteristics cardiac muscle cells:

  • They are involuntary and intrinsically controlled, striated, branched, and single nucleated.
  • One commonality between skeletal and cardiac muscle is the presence of striations due to the arrangement of actin and myosin into regular myofibrils.

Smooth muscle cell:---

Smooth muscle cells (SMCs) are involuntary, non-striated muscle cells that line the insides of hollow organs such as arteries, lungs, bladder, the digestive system, and the reproductive system. They work automatically without you being aware of them. Smooth muscles are involved in many 'housekeeping' functions of the body. The muscular walls of your intestines contract to push food through your body.

Two characteristics define smooth muscle cells:

  • They are involuntarily controlled, not striated, not branched, and singly nucleated.
  • The unconscious regions of the brain control visceral muscle through the autonomic and enteric nervous systems.

Skeletal muscle cell:---

Skeletal muscle cells are syncytial structures comprised of organelles including the specialized endoplasmic reticulum and t-tubule system that are involved in transmitting excitatory signals to coordinate muscle contraction, as well as bundles of fibrils and contractile proteins in organized units called sarcomeres. Skeletal muscle fibers are long, multinucleated cells. The membrane of the cell is the sarcolemma; the cytoplasm of the cell is the sarcoplasm.

Four characteristics define skeletal muscle tissue cells:

  • They are voluntary, striated, not branched, and multinucleated.
  • The contraction of skeletal muscles also produces the bulk of the body's heat as a byproduct of cellular metabolism.

Muscle Cells

Explanation:

Four characteristics define skeletal muscle tissue cells: they are voluntary, striated, not branched, and multi-nucleated. The contraction of skeletal muscles also produces the bulk of the body's heat as a byproduct of cellular metabolism. All muscle cells share properties like contractility, excitability, extensibility, and elasticity. Muscle cells are excitable; they respond to a stimulus. Muscle cells contain protein filaments of actin and myosin that slide past one another, producing a contraction that changes both the length and the shape of the cell.
