a) by the third law of motion. , to every action there is an equal and opposite reaction. Here action and reaction are just two forces, which are equal in magnitude but opposite in direction.
When a bullet is fired from a gun, the action force sends the bullet forward and the reaction force sends the gun backward.
b) by the first law of motion. According to first law of motion, A body at rest will remain at rest and a body in motion will continue in motion in a straight line with a uniform speed, unless it is compelled by an external force to change its state of rest or of uniform motion.
Initially, both, the table cloth and the coin are in state of rest on the table. When we suddenly remove the table cloth, a force acts on the table cloth and changes its state of rest to that of motion.
