Answer:Archimedes principle states that when a body is partially or fully immersed in water, it experiences an upthrust force equal to the weight of the fluid displaced
An example is it's verification which is a body is placed in water and it's mass in water is measured and this is called the apparent weight when this mass is being meassured a measuring cylinder is placed near the overfall can and the weight of the fluid displaced is equal to the upthrust;Then the mass in air is also measured and this is called actual weight
So to get upthrust we say
Actual weight- apparent weight
Hence upthrust = weight of fluid displaced
