Answer:

Explanation:

according to this law, force of attraction or repulsion between two point charges which are at rest is directly proportional to product of magnitude of two charges and inversely proportional to the square of distance between them

Answer:

Coulomb's law- whenever there two point charges separated by a distance d then the force acting on them is directly proportional to the product of the two point charges and inversely proportional to the square on the distance between the two point charges.

Here point charges refers to very small charges like electrons. As per the law, when you will take two electrons at a distance say r then force of repulsion which will be acting on both will be q1*q2/r^2

it has been practically proven by coulomb

But this law is only applicable for point charges not bigger charges like charges in a glass tube when we rub
