Fleming's right-hand rule gives which direction the current flows. The right hand is held with the thumb, index finger and middle finger mutually perpendicular to each other (at right angles), as shown in the diagram. The thumb is pointed in the direction of the motion of the conductor relative to the magnetic field.

Fleming's right hand rule :
The forefinger, the middle finger and the thumb of the right hand are held in three mutually perpendicular directions. If the forefinger points along the direction of the magnetic field and the thumb along the direction of motion of the magnetic field and the thumb along the direction of motion of the conductor, then the middle finger points in the direction of induced current.
