The polygon law of vectors states that when a number of vectors are joined together in a particular direction to represent the sides of a polygon the the resultant vector is represented by the vector in joined from the initial to the final vector in the opposite direction.

Polygon law of vector addition states that if a number of vector are represented completely by the side of a polygon taken in order their resultant is fully represented by the closing side of the polygon taken in opposite order.
