LAWS OF REFECTION :-

1) First law of reflection :

  • The reflected ray, incident ray and the normal to the surface of the mirror all lies in the same plane.
  • If the angle of reflection increases then the angle of incidence will also increase.

2) Second law of reflection :

  • The angle of reflection is equal to the angle of the incidence.
  • \sf \angle i \ = \ \angle r

3) Third law of reflection :

  • The reflected ray and the incident ray are on the opposites sides of the normal.
  • The reflected ray and the incidence day lies on the different sides of the normal.
