Snell's law is a law stating that the ratio of the sines of the angles of incidence and refraction of a wave are constant when it passes between two given media.

Snell's Law gives the equation which shows how light is refracted when it travels through two different mediums that have two different indices of refraction.

Laws of reflection:-

1st law:-The incident ray, the reflected ray,and the normal at the point of incidence lie on the same plane.

2nd law:- The angle of incidence is equal to the angle of reflection.
