State and explain the law of action and reaction.

Answer:
Newton's third law of motion is known as law of action and reaction. Its states that to every action, there is always an equal and opposite reaction i.e., the forces of action and reaction are always equal and opposite. These forces act on two different objects and never cancel each other.
The force produced as a result of action acts on another object but in opposite direction is called reaction. Newton formulated a law in relation to action and reaction, which is called Newton's third law of motion.According to this law, for every action, there is an equal and opposite reaction.
