When amoeba senses it's food,it pushes out psuedopodia and engulfs the food particle.after this process the digestion takes place inside the food vacuole.digestive juices are secreted into the food particle.
After digestion gradually the digested food is absorbed and undigested food is thrown out by psuedopodia.
