State and explain work-energy theorem

It state that - The total work done is equal to the difference of final and initial kinetic energy
W = 1/2 mv ^ 2 - 1/2 mu ^ 2
You can prove this theorem by F = ma
a = dv /dt
put a value in above equation ..then use formula W = F * dis
After that integrate it u will get ur answer... or theorem
