Answer:

written below-

Step-by-step explanation:

GIVEN- baudhayana theroreum

FIND- prove and state it .

solution-

the areas produced seperately by the lenght and the breadth of rectangle together equal the areas produced by the diagonal.

proof - in ∆ ABC and ∆DBA , angle b is a common angle.

also we have angle BAC= angle ADB =90°

•∆ABC~∆DBA ( by AA)

their corresponding sides are proportional

hence, AB/DB= BC/BA

AB^2= DB×BC.....(i)

similarly we have ∆ABC and∆DAC

BC/AC = AC/DC

AC^2= BC×DC......(ii)

by adding i and ii we get

AB^2 + AC^2 = BD×BC +BC× DC

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

Concept : The areas produced separately by the length and the breadth of rectangle together equal the areas produced by the diagonal, this is called Baudhayana Theorem.

Given : Baudhayana theorem

To Find :  Prove and state it .

Solution :

Proof :

In ∆ ABC and ∆DBA , angle b is a common angle.

also we have angle BAC= angle ADB =90°

∆ABC~∆DBA ( by AA)

their corresponding sides are proportional

hence, AB/DB= BC/BA

AB^2= DB×BC.....(i)

similarly we have ∆ABC and ∆DAC

BC/AC = AC/DC

AC^2= BC×DC......(ii)

by adding i and ii we get

AB^2 + AC^2 = BD×BC +BC× DC
