Then draw another triangle PQR with angle Q=90°,AB=PQ,BC=QR.

In triangle PQR,

PR sq = PQ sq + QR sq.

PR sq = AB sq + BC sq[since construction]

AC=PR.

In triangles ABC & PQR,

AC=PR

AB=PQ

BC=QR

Triangles ABC & PQR are congruent.

AngleB=angleQ=90°
