Answer:
Newton's second law of motion states that the acceleration of a system is directly proportional to and in the same direction as the net external force acting on the system, and inversely proportional to its mass. In equation form, Newton's second law of motion is a=Fnetm a = F net m
Answer:
To State:
Newtons first law of motion: A body will continue in its state of rest or of uniform motion in a straight line unless compelled by some applies unbalanced force to change its state of rest or uniform motion.
To prove first law of motion we need to know both law of motion means first law and second law
First law :if external force applied on an object is zero, then if the object is moving will continue to move with the same speed and if the object is at rest will continue to be at rest.
Second law:The magnitude of the force applied on any object is equal to the production of mass and the acceleration acquired by the object i.e; F=ma where m=mass of the object and a=acceleration of the object.
To prove first law from the second law just make F=0 in the equation so will get ma=0
mass can be zero it means acceleration(a)=0
There are only two cases when acceleration of an object is zero.One- if an object is at rest and another if object is having uniform speed/velocity, it means in the absence of external force if the object is moving it will continue to be in rest. This is Newton's First law of motion
